Ship wreck - Gannet D

During a geophysical survey undertaken on 5 August 2026 using an EM2040 multibeam echosounder, a shipwreck was identified within the survey area. The feature corresponds to a previously known and charted wreck. The wreck measures approximately 37 m in length, 8 m in beam, and 5 m in height, with an orientation of 347°. The feature is clearly defined within the attached drawings. This area should be continued to be avoided by fishing vessels and other seabed users operating in this area.

Liverpool Bay CCS _ Cable Lay – Talacre Beach to Douglas Platform

Mariners are advised that Liverpool Bay CCS Ltd will conduct the main cable lay using the vessel CLV Ndurance. This vessel will transit to Blyth from Rotterdam approx. 16th August, carry out sea trials in the SNS, testing equipment docking Blyth thereafter to load out cable. The vessel is expected on site ~ 14th September 2026.

Curlew D Field - Exclusion Zone

Following completion of the Curlew WHS Campaign, post-decommissioning, a seabed inspection survey and trawl verification sweep identified a known natural seabed obstruction, which is highlighted in the coordinates below, measuring app. 4.0 m x 2.2 m x 0.5 m. In addition, 75m exclusion zones were maintained around each retained drill cuttings pile to prevent disturbance by trawl gear. These zones should continue to be avoided by fishing vessels and other seabed users operating in the area.
