IFA2000 Cable Survey Operations in Folkestone

National Grid will be conducting cable survey operations offshore from Folkestone, as part of the IFA2000 interconnector infrastructure. The survey operations will be carried out by survey vessels ZEF NORDET and CERES 3 , and are currently expected to be completed on or around 30 October 2025, subject to weather and operational conditions.

DEME Innovation Heavy Lift Vessel removing topsides & jacket of the Boulton BM & Munro MH platforms

Harbour Energy will completely remove and recover the topsides and jacket (including risers) of the Boulton BM and Munro MH platforms using the DEME Innovation Heavy Lift Vessel. The vessel will mobilise between the 21st October – 28th October 2025 for approximately 25 days. The DEME Rollingstone fallpipe vessel will perform rock placement at Munro MH to facilitate the DEME Innovation Heavy Lift Vessel scope of work. The vessel will mobilise between 23rd – 30th October for approximately 5 days.

Foinaven Buoyant Risers within Water Column

Subsea Risers which left in the water column at Foinaven following the removal of the FPSO. These buoyant risers are now covered by 3 new 500m safety zones but do still pose a significant snagging hazard due to their size, number (13x) and height above seabed (160m at highest point). There is no surface infrastructure in the area hence this notification to supplement the 500m zones
